John Allan je riaditeľom Avanti Architects a je známy predovšetkým svojou prácou v oblasti ochrany a obnovy architektúry moderného hnutia. Avanti sa špecializuje na rekonštrukcie a modernizácie pamiatkovo chránených modernistických budov, ako aj na začleňovanie novostavieb do historického alebo inak citlivého prostredia. Allan je tiež autorom publikácií o Lubetkinovi, modernom hnutí a pamiatkovej starostlivosti modernistických stavieb.

EN: John Allan has been a director of Avanti Architects since the early 1980s and is especially recognised for his leadership in conserving Modern Movement architecture. Avanti excels in intervention in historic fabric: restoring and upgrading listed modernist buildings, heritage work, and integrating new buildings sensitively into historic or constrained sites. Allan himself is a noted author on Lubetkin, the Modern Movement, and modern conservation.
